About Bruckner Muffler & Auto Repair

Located at Parking lot, 1361 Bruckner Blvd, Bronx, NY 10459, Bruckner Muffler & Auto Repair operates as an auto repair shop serving Bronx in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–6 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Bruckner Muffler & Auto Repair at (718) 328-4443; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Bronx peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve had three different mechanics touch my car before the dealership, a shop in Yonkers, and now Bruckner Muffler & Auto Repair and this was easily the best experience. Last week some lowlife thieves stole my catalytic converter, so I needed a shop I could trust. I searched nearby and saw this place had great reviews, so I gave it a shot. From the moment I got there, Ceaser was solid. Straightforward, respectful, and clearly knows what he’s doing. No games, no upselling. Just HONEST work at a HONEST price. I dropped late evening of my car and got it back next day! Thank you.

They were referred to me by an ebike shop to get the seatpost on my aluminum frame welded. That was done perfectly and the weld has held 100%, even when I had to hammer the old bent seatpost out of the frame. I then returned to have them weld the hinge on my bike that was originally done as a press weld. This required a lot of attention, including them creating a jib to have the frame fit back together perfectly, and they went above and beyond to make it perfect. They are not cheap, but after my times working with them, anyone would find that they are incredibly priced for the work. It has taken me about 3 years to find someone who is an aluminum welding artist versus someone who can just weld aluminum. BTW - They could have charged me 30% more, and I would still have felt that I had gotten a bargain. I am not a bot!!! I am a high school teacher who commutes to work with my ebike and found a dope resource that I want to tell others about.

I had my catalytic converter stolen and needed temporary pipe to be welded so I can drive until I get a new part. I was in and out in 1 hour, exceptional service! Recommend to everyone, Cesar was amazing! Truly life savers. No lines, no hidden fees.

I came in thinking I needed a new muffler and they gave me a much cheaper solution replacing the flex pipe. Any other place could have easily overcharged me but the staff here was friendly, fast and informative. Now that I found this place I will always come back here. I highly recommend Bruckner Muffler & Tires, they saved me a lot of money. Thank you!

Excellent shop with knowledgeable mechanics. I've been dealing with Cesar since my very first car back in 2004. I've moved to other boroughs of NYC and still only come to him for my mechanical and exhaust issues. They're the best!
